Customize Your New AMD Radeon R9 Fury X Graphics Card

AMD is the first company to offer everyone a chance to customize their new Radeon R9 Fury X graphic card. The company is in Sunnyvale, California and offers Advanced Micro Devices for computers. Furthermore, they specialize in the development of processors, graphic cards, and related technology for professionals or consumers.

When AMD first designed their new Radeon R9 Fury X graphic card they wanted a new industrial design for professionals. Furthermore, they were looking for an elegant card that would look great inside any computer. They decided to use an aluminum die-cast black nickel finish for their card. However, when they started to design their new card they asked the different product developers within the company for ideas. Many people had different opinions of what the card should look like. This gave the designers a brilliant idea. When they designed their new graphic card they built the card so that the customer could customize design their own front plate panel.

AMD is the first company on the market to give customers a chance to custom design their new graphic card using a 3D printer. The new Fury X front plate is easy to remove and replace with a new custom designed 3D printable plate. All a customer needs to do is remove the four screws holding the plate in place.

Currently AMD is encouraging their customers to remove the plate and print a new customized plate for their graphic card. They feel that the new plate design will look fantastic displayed on any motherboard. This new idea gives a whole new meaning to customizing your PC. To get you started AMD is offering a free 3D printable design that anyone can download from their website.  After downloading the specification to print your own faceplate AMD wants to see your design. Soon AMD will be featuring the best original designs on their blog.

However, before you get started it is recommended that you follow the instructions AMD has provided. Therefore, with a careful approach and the graphic card removed from the computer you can have hours of fun designing your new face plate. Furthermore, this is a new advancement for 3D printers and custom PC assembly.

Just consider the possibilities manufactures and business can have with a new innovated design that allows customers to custom print face plates or other parts for their computers. Soon we might see a new market open on Shapeways for customized 3D printed front plates.
