Floyd is an Operator in Residence at Mechanism. Having graduated with a Computer Science degree from Princeton University in 2023, he has a strong background in web development and data analytics.
Before joining the team, Floyd was responsible for developing algorithms in support of a public transit system for SmartDrivingCars, a New Jersey start-up focussed on using autonomous vehicles to increase mobility in underfunded neighborhoods.
A former European champion and World’s medalist in rowing, Floyd thrives in competitive environments and currently participates in chess and martial art tournaments.
