Marcela is part of the Recruiting team where she supports hiring efforts across a broad range of portfolio companies. Prior to Mechanism, Marcela worked for various tech companies as part of talent acquisition where she helped build teams from scratch globally.
With a background of both in-house and agency recruiting, Marcela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations from the University of Athabasca. When she’s not talking about DEI and candidate experience, you can find her searching for the city’s best coffee shop (along with a pastry or two).
