Amelia earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Denver and began her career as a software engineer before moving into growth. Over the past decade she has built and led acquisition and performance marketing teams for DTC brands and B2B SaaS startups, including Maude, PetPlate, where she was Director of Acquisition & Performance Marketing, and Podscribe, the podcast advertising analytics platform, where she rose from Head of Marketing & Growth to Chief Marketing Officer.
Her work sits at the intersection of growth, finance, product, and operations, with a focus on how contribution margin, CAC payback, retention, and monetization compound into long-term enterprise value. She is also an angel investor, a growth advisor to early-stage startups, and a regular speaker at events including Advertising Week New York and the Brand Podcast Summit.
Amelia joined Mechanism as a CEO in Residence in 2025 and led JobTest as CEO before taking the helm at 1538°, where she brings a data-driven, profitability-first approach to taking the company from launch to scale.
