That's how we think about entrepreneurship.

If your company can make 2, 3, 10... 100 moves in the same time it takes your competitors to make one, you will win. And the more moves you can make, the less often you need to be right.

Denis is a strategic advisor and board member, helping to guide the companies Mechanism Ventures works with from launch through hypergrowth. Denis also works closely with our internal teams to up-level their capabilities. He is a serial entrepreneur who has launched multiple companies including BestReviews. In his spare time, he loves playing piano, woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, and more recently, growing tropical fruit.

While earning a degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in 2011, Breanden cofounded and led Toptal, which bootstrapped its way to more than $200M+ in annual revenue and became the largest fully distributed company in the world. Based in Naples, Florida, Breanden has an eight-year-old daughter who is the center of his world. Keeping her safe and being as close to a world-class parent as he can be are top priorities for him.
