At 16, he began studying chemical engineering at Princeton University, driven by a passion for constructing systems to solve complex problems. In his senior year, he applied this chemical engineering mindset to entrepreneurship when he cofounded Toptal. Obsessed with first principles and systems thinking, he engineered Toptal into a software engineering company that grew to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue.
Believing that talent solves all problems, Breanden fosters a high-performance culture with high talent density and rapid growth. He focuses on aligning, inspiring, and challenging smart people to achieve extraordinary results. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has lived and worked in over 30 countries and played competitive polo worldwide.
