Prior to going Mechanism Ventures, James built the Commercial Team at Chromatic, a developer tools company focused on improving the UI of the internet. He scaled both the Sales and Customer Success teams to support over 2,000 paying customers. Before Chromatic, James was an investor at Silversmith Capital Partners and a consultant at Bain & Company. His experience spanning a variety of companies at different stages allows him to build and execute operational plans for all teams that work with Mechanism Ventures.
Outside of work, James is an avid Survivor fan (he’s auditioned 3 times to no avail), a loyal United flyer, and he takes credit for starting the extreme walking fad. He believes Chicago is the best city in the in the United States, but is Greek at heart.James graduated with a A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
