Madhavi is a mathematician by training and holds degrees from MIT and Johns Hopkins. Her academic research spans computational drug design using protein structure models as well as developing novel peptide therapeutics, including the first FDA orphan drug designation for pediatric cardiomyopathy since 1994. Madhavi's work has been featured by the American Heart Association and published in scientific journals.
Madhavi co-founded Droplette, a groundbreaking device that delivers skincare ingredients deeper into the skin through micro-diffusion technology. Droplette was recognized on TIME's Best Inventions 2022 list and won a CES 2023 Innovation Award.Madhavi's multi-disciplinary expertise spans mathematics, computational biology, biochemistry and now consumer health/wellness. Her ability to translate complex science into pioneering consumer products positions her well to lead Thrive’s mission to make elite nutrition and wellness coaching accessible to all.
